mc-to-3d is live
Pick any region of a Minecraft world and export a watertight STL, ready to slice. The whole conversion runs in your browser — worlds are never uploaded anywhere.
This first release covers the full path from a save folder to a printable file: fly through the world, select a region with two clicks, adjust it face by face, and check the result in a preview you can slice through before committing to it.
Two things are worth trying straight away. "Micro" detail reproduces the real shape of each block, so stairs step and slabs are half height instead of everything being a cube. "Remove interior" drops the geometry the outside cannot see, which on a solid build is most of the filament and most of the print time.
It is free. An account with a confirmed email address is needed only for the download itself.
